Hi to everyone! Today I'm going to talk about some changes that I would do on my study programme. As I said in other blog, I'm studying social work, so that the subjects of my career are very related with social justice, investigation, society, economy, statistics, gender, among others. The study programme of Social Work, in this university, reflects an interest by our academics to train critical thinking social workers capable of, mainly, investigative work. For other people, this can be annoying, because is a lot of theory and little practice. Personally, I like it, so it is not something that I would change. However, I think the problem is in what kind of theory we receive and the way in which we do it. In the first year and semester, there is a subject called "Fundamentals of Social Work".
